Communion Tables
Different churches have different ways of observing Christianity's most sacred rite, Holy Communion. These differences affect the type of pulpit furniture they need. Churches which celebrate the Eucharist by passing the elements to a seated congregation almost always need communion tables. We at Imperial Woodworks, Inc. can show you a number of table designs that will help set a reverent mood for receiving the bread and wine.
We equip our large box-style closed communion tables (60 inches wide by 24 inches deep by 32 inches high) with rear storage space. Some also have rear sliding doors. Fronts may be plain, paneled or carved. You may also choose communion tables with a smaller base, allowing the top to extend into space. Open tables are available in the same dimensions or the smaller size of 54 inches wide by 22 inches deep by 32 inches high. Select a plain table, or one with carved borders or finely detailed lattice work.
